We don't believe responsibility is a statement. It's a series of considered decisions, what we choose to use, what we choose to avoid and what we take ownership of when something reaches the end of its life. We don't claim to be perfect.
There are still constraints; in natural fibres, cellulosic material development, in manufacturing, in scale. We are continuously working to improve them.
But we won't take shortcuts. We won't present partial solutions as progress.
If it can't be done properly, we don't do it.
We prioritise Australian-grown natural fibres and locally sourced botanicals wherever possible, supporting local growers and shortening the distance between fibre, fragrance and finished product.
Today, not every part of the supply chain can sit locally. But we are actively working towards it. Our long-term vision is to bring materials, production and recovery closer together: a connected, circular system.
Because where something is made matters as much as what it's made from.
We work with clean fibre families, drawn from the ocean, the land and living systems. Natural, cellulosic, climate positive, fully traceable. We avoid petroleum-based synthetics wherever possible.
Every material is selected not just for how it performs but for how it returns.
We collaborate with a small number of trusted partners who share our commitment to quality, responsibility and long-term thinking.
Our fabrics are developed with Chichampe Fabrics Inc. across Taiwan and Germany, a world-class mill specialising in advanced cellulosic textile engineering. Together, we have developed our proprietary blends, combining Good Earth Cotton®, SeaCell™ and Yulastic® into fabrics that balance performance, softness and circular design.
Our waffle bathsheets are manufactured by Chichampe. Bed linen is woven through Chichampe's specialised production house in China, where fine-gauge looms are required for high-quality bedding construction.
Across every stage, we prioritise partners who operate to recognised international standards, including responsible chemical management, material safety, environmental controls and fair working conditions.
We visit our partners regularly and collaborate closely through every stage of development, from fibre composition to final finish.
For the initial Founder's Launch we will cut, sew, embroider and finish the products in Taiwan and China. The plan for the future is to move manufacturing to Australia to reconnect production back to where we live and operate.
Because how something is made matters as much as what it's made from.
Traceability
Every SunGods piece is fully traceable from origin to finished product. Through FibreTrace®, each fibre is verified at source and tracked through every stage of production, creating complete visibility from farm to fabric and beyond.
When a product is returned, that traceability continues. We know where it goes, how it is processed and how it re-enters the system.
Materials
We prioritise fibres that restore more than they take.
Our GEC cotton is sourced from climate positive systems, where regenerative farming removes more carbon than it creates. Our cellulose fibres are derived from renewable inputs and designed to return safely to the system or safely composted at end of life.
Every material is selected not just for how it performs but for how it returns.
Transparency
Each product carries a digital certificate recording its origin, composition and pathway. Named after its original Kickstarter backer, it allows the full story of the product to continue beyond its first life.
We choose digital over physical labels, reducing waste while increasing visibility.
Standards
We partner with manufacturers who operate to recognised global standards for environmental management, chemical safety and ethical working conditions, including OEKO-TEX® and equivalent independent frameworks.
Accountability comes from proximity, not paperwork.

Gaia, Ground Materials that are grown and restored.
Pontus, Flow Materials that move and adapt.
Helios, Renewal Materials that return and begin again.
Demeter, Nourish Materials that support everyday life.
Together, they form a closed system, designed for ritual, engineered to return. Every product made with a beginning, a life and a way home.
Impact isn't what we say. It's what happens next.
